1003 Shotguns - Don’t disregard the 20 Gauge Coach Gun

Which shotgun gauge should you choose: 12 gauge or 20 gauge? Which is better for SASS use?

We have used both gauges and prefer the smaller 20 gauge. The 12 gauge shotguns are nice, powerful, and relatively easy to find as a Coach Gun. However, the 12 gauge shotgun being larger in caliber will have more recoil and is slightly heavier.

The 20 gauge Coach Guns are lighter and offer lower recoil. They are plenty powerful enough to swing targets when hit and will cause knock-down targets to fall. The lighter weight will come in handy for slighter framed shooter especially if the stages have targets spaced widely apart.
