of clubs in your area. Not all clubs may be affiliated with SASS yet or
are in the process of forming.
Go to www.sassnet.com
and navigate to Affiliated Clubs, then select your state or region.
Each club will have some
sort of cowboy shooting town, some bigger than others. Each club will have
a number of shooting stages that resemble a building front face with the
targets on the other side. Some clubs many have more elaborate stages that
may be complete buildings where you shoot from the back side of the
building and may have more substantial structures like wells, forts and
the like.
Because of the real estate
associated with Cowboy Action Shooting the clubs will need more room than
other shooting sports. Thus, they will be located on private land set
aside for this sole purpose. Some clubs may actually be affiliated with
another established general shooting range. All of these clubs will be
located remote from housing developments for obvious reasons, so expect a
