While shooting your target
sequence you unfortunately missed the target. The natural instinct is to
re-engage the same target, but do not do this. You shot at the target and
missed, you are finished with that particular target and the shot will be
scored a miss.
A re-engaged missed target
will incur a miss score (5 second penalty added to your stage score) and a
procedural error (you shot the targets out of sequence for the stage, a 10
second penalty added to your stage score). Finally as you engage the last
target you will be out of ammo and incur another penalty for failure to
engage the last target.
A missed target should not
be re-engaged. Move on to the next target. |
